HSK 1: Introduction

This test is for absolute beginners who have around 30h of classes under their belt and mastered 150 words. On this page you find everything you need to know about the test, how to prepare and what you can expect on test day:

Format
Get to know the format of the test, how many and which kind of questions you will have to answer, how many points there are and what you need to pass the test.

Vocabulary
All HSK 1 vocabularies with Pinyin and English translation. Make sure you know most of them when you take the test!

HSK 1 Vocabulary Guide

This book contains the current list of 150 HSK 1 words last updated in 2012. All words come with Pinyin and except for the first 5 pronouns, all vocabularies also come with at least one example sentence helping you to not only learn the word but also understand the way it's used within sentences.

HSK 1-6 Vocabulary Book

This vocabulary guide contains all 5000 HSK vocabularies grouped by level starting from HSK 1 and finishing with HSK 6. The vocabularies are based on the changes from 2012 and all come with Pinyin and English translation.
