The Chinese word 总是 means “always” or “constantly” in English. It is commonly used to indicate a persistent or habitual action or behavior. For example, if someone says “我总是迟到”, it means “I am always late”. Similarly, if someone says “他总是说谎”, it means “He always lies”. 总是 can also be used to express a sense of annoyance or frustration with someone’s behavior, as in “你总是这样做”, meaning “You always do this”.
